12 Days of Christmas gift tags - free chart

Hello dear stitchy friends!

it's the penultimate day of our free gift tag charts, and todays design is this cute little stocking.

We finished this design as a chalkboard tag and it really pops against the black background.

We used a wooden tag from our local craft store and painted it with black chalkboard paint. Chalkboard paint comes in many colours so don't feel that you are stuck using black....try colours that co-ordinate with the stitching for a completely different look :)

The great thing about a chalkboard tag is that you can re-use it year after year!
