12 Days of Christmas gift tags - free charts!

Hello stitchy friends!
Welcome to day one of our '12 days of Christmas gift tags' free charts series. The name says it all.....12 free Christmas gift tag charts, one every day starting today for 12 days. You may not have completed your Christmas shopping yet (or if you're like me, you haven't even started!) but you can get a head start on the gift tags :)
Todays design is a super simple, but oh-so effective little snowflake motif stitched in one colour. As you can see, I got a bit carried away and stitched several using different colours for each one.

I bought a pack of black gift tags similar to these and these but you can use any kind you want or make your own!

I trimmed the stitching and frayed the edges then added some iron-on interfacing to the back of the stitched piece (so that the glue wouldn't show) then glued it to the gift tag. The gift tags that I bought came with black and white bakers twine but I removed it and added a loop of embroidery thread (all six strands) so that it matched the stitching.
And that's it...one gift tag made and ready to add to a gift :)

Quick, easy, and very effective!

Don't forget to pop back tomorrow for another free Christmas tag chart :)
Happy stitching!
