'A Year of Christmas Stitching' free chart
Hello stitchy friends!
It's time for another free cross stitch chart in our series 'A Year of Christmas Stitching'!
This little design is a great stash buster design....use up those scraps of aida and those random bits of threads that we all keep! You really don't need much of either to stitch this design.
As you can see, I got a bit carried away and stitched this design not once,
not twice,
....not even three times!
Yes, I stitched it four times! (actually it was five times, but I forgot to take a picture of the last one!!!)

It was fun playing around with different threads and fabrics. So grab whatever fabric and threads you have on hand and try this design. Your free chart has DMC numbers listed, but you can use whatever thread brands and/or colours you like!
So, what threads did I use?
My favorite metallic thread! DMC diamond thread which is easy to use and comes in a great variety of colours. This looks stunning on the black fabric.
This was stitched using this budget friendly option of threads. Also stitched this colour scheme (which is the colours on your free chart key) on black aida and it looked wonderful, I just forgot to take a picture of it!
This variegated thread was an anchor brand but any variegated thread would work.
So whatever fabric and threads you use, you'll end up with a great little finish!
