Free Cross Stitch Chart: Winter Mouse

Hello stitchy friends and happy September!

This month's free cross stitch chart is a super cute mouse playing in the snow. This darling little design will make a fantastic Christmas ornament or Christmas card....and would make the perfect winter birthday card too.

We used our favourite metallic thread on the back stitched snowflake - DMC Diamant. If you don't have DMC Diamant thread, then any sparkly metallic thread would work, use whatever you have in your stash :)

With all these fantastic ideas, we are definitely going to be stitching this little mouse multiple times. And if you have any more ideas on how to finish this, do let us know. We'd love to hear from you!

We finished our stitching in a little 3 inch hoop and added some white pom-pom ribbon to the hoop as it looked like there were more snowballs for the little mouse to play with. Simple, quick, and super cute!

We also decided to ribbon wrap another hoop for a more sparkly finish. Just add a bow and a loop of ribbon for hanging, and you've go the perfect ornament to hang on your Christmas tree.

So however you finish this little mouse, it's sure too look fantastic! And remember that all the previous charts in our series "A Year of Christmas Stitching" are still available.
