Free Cross Stitch Bookmark

Hi stitchy friends!

It's been a while since we've posted a free chart that wasn't a part of our "A Year of Christmas Stitching" series, in which we post one free chart for each month of the year. So I thought it was time for a little freebie!

This vine bookmark design is super easy and quick to stitch. You can use any two colours of thread you'd like - for the one pictured above, I used a shade of green and the most sparkly thread I could find in my stash. The sparkly wasn't labeled since it was a scrap piece of thread from another project, but I'm quite sure that it's Madeira. The green came from this set that I ordered recently - I like this set because it's so compact and comes with a lot of different colours (note: affiliate link). If you're looking for a gift for a new stitcher or someone who might not stick with cross stitching, the set would make an excellent gift for them because they could try out a lot of different patterns - the thread is even numbered with DMC numbers, which I really liked.
