The Blackwork Stitch Along Week 2

Hi stitchy friends!

Welcome to Week 2 of The Blackwork Stitch Along! Week 1 was fun, wasn't it? We saw some really beautiful choices from all of you for threads and fabric. It's amazing how different a design can look in different colours! Here's Rhona's stitched in black with a little pop of colour:

A few people have asked what red thread I am using for my design. It's actually a part of a bundle set I got last year, in colour 815. It's a bit fluffier than DMC, if that's what you usually use, but I find that I quite like that look for the blackwork as it almost looks a little bit thicker than usual for 1 strand of thread.
